Senior Innovation Lawyer – Dublin, Ireland

Mared Roberts • March 9, 2026

This is an exciting senior role for a transactional lawyer who wants to step away from traditional fee-earning and move into the heart of legal innovation. Working within a major international firm, the Senior Innovation Lawyer will help redesign how legal work is delivered—using technology, GenAI and smarter processes to transform efficiency, quality and client experience across a key Practice Group.

You will collaborate directly with partners and deal teams to understand how matters are run, identify opportunities for improvement and implement tech-enabled solutions such as document automation, contract review tools and AI-driven drafting platforms. You will also create practical assets such as clause libraries, workflow maps, playbooks and prompt libraries to support consistent, streamlined service delivery.

A major part of the role involves change leadership—supporting fee-earners in adopting new tools, running pilots, providing training and embedding best practice into everyday workflows. You will also ensure that all innovation projects align with strategy, client expectations and responsible AI guidelines.

Ideal candidates will be qualified lawyers (typically at least 4-5 years’ PQE) with solid transactional experience and a genuine interest in technology and process improvement. You will need strong stakeholder skills, the ability to analyse complex workflows and the confidence to influence senior lawyers.

This is a standout opportunity for someone who wants to combine legal expertise with innovation and play a key role in shaping how the firm delivers legal services in the GenAI era.
