Our client, a leading Irish law firm with a long-established healthcare practice, is seeking a Healthcare Associate to join its growing team in Dublin.


This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with c. 1 year PQE who has an interest in healthcare, child protection and public sector work. The team advises a broad range of clients across the healthcare sector, including public bodies, hospitals, care providers and regulatory organisations.


You will be working closely with experienced partners and senior solicitors, and will be involved in a varied and hands-on caseload.


The role will include:

·      Managing files and assisting on complex healthcare and child protection matters

·      Drafting pleadings, legal correspondence and court documents

·      Preparing cases for hearings and attending court regularly

·      Representing clients in the District Court

·      Advising clients on statutory obligations and relevant legislation

·      Reviewing medical records, social work files and other key documentation

·      Liaising with clients, counsel, Gardaí, medical professionals and third parties


The successful candidate will have:

·      Qualification as a Solicitor in Ireland

·      Minimum 1 year PQE, ideally in litigation, healthcare, public sector or child care related matters

·      Strong advocacy and communication skills

·      Excellent drafting and analytical ability

·      A practical and organised approach to managing files and deadlines

·      A genuine interest in healthcare and child protection law
