Senior Legal Counsel (Interim) – Global Financial Services, Dublin

Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their international legal function, based in Dublin. This is a 6–12 month interim contract offering exposure to complex, high-impact work across multiple business areas. As part of the European Legal team, you’ll partner closely with business leaders and support with initiatives at both local and group level.


Responsibilities:

·     Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial, insurance and regulatory agreements

·     Support the General Counsel and executive team in managing Central Bank of Ireland and European regulatory requirements

·     Advise on compliance initiatives, monitor and implement EU and Irish regulatory changes

·     Work collaboratively with legal and compliance colleagues across Europe


The ideal person:

·     Qualified lawyer (Ireland) with experience in insurance/financial services and corporate/commercial law

·     Proven track record supporting management and cross-functional teams

·     Skilled in commercial negotiation in a fast-moving environment

·     Excellent communication and influencing skills
