Business Development Manager | Leading International Law Firm | Dublin

Malwina Kempa • May 7, 2026

We are working with a highly regarded international law firm to appoint a Business Development Manager to support key practice groups and work closely with senior partners on driving growth. This is a visible, hands-on role with real input into how the firm wins and develops business.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the practice, shaping BD strategy, leading on pitches and proposals, and driving client development initiatives. From planning and budgeting through to delivery, you will be involved in the full lifecycle, with the autonomy to make an impact.

The role sits within a well-established and collaborative BD team, offering strong support but also plenty of scope to take ownership and build your profile internally.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to develop and execute BD strategy
  • Leading high-quality pitches, proposals and client initiatives
  • Driving client relationship management and identifying growth opportunities
  • Managing directories, campaigns and market insights
  • Using data and CRM tools to inform decision-making and track performance

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years’ BD/marketing experience within a law firm or professional services
  • Strong experience working with senior stakeholders
  • A mix of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery
  • Excellent project management and communication skills

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised firm with a strong presence in Dublin and a clear growth trajectory, offering exposure to high-quality work and the chance to operate as a true business partner to the practice.

If you are looking for a role where you can genuinely influence strategy, not just execute it, this is one worth exploring.

Please contact Malwina Kempa in strict confidence on +353 87427 8751 or send your CV to mkempa@keanemcdonald.com to discuss this opportunity further. Discretion is assured.
