Knowledge Lawyer – Finance & Capital Markets - Ireland

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced finance lawyer to join its Finance and Capital Markets team in Dublin as a Knowledge Lawyer. This is a permanent role offering genuine flexibility, including hybrid working, flexible hours and the potential for a four-day working week.
This opportunity is well suited to a lawyer who enjoys the technical aspects of finance law and wants to move beyond fee-earning, while remaining closely connected to complex, high-quality transactional work. The role plays a key part in shaping and developing the team’s legal expertise.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining know-how, tracking legal and regulatory developments, and supporting effective knowledge sharing across the practice. You will also contribute to innovation by engaging with legal technology and AI tools.
Training is a core element of the position. You will help design and deliver internal training programmes, contribute to client briefings and support thought leadership, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of a rapidly evolving legal landscape.
This is a highly collaborative role within an international environment that places strong emphasis on mentoring and career development. The successful candidate will have strong visibility and real influence within the practice.
Applicants should be qualified in Ireland or the UK with at least 4–5 years’ PQE, gained in a leading law firm or equivalent environment, and experience in finance, banking or capital markets. Strong technical skills, excellent communication and a genuine interest in knowledge and legal innovation are essential.
