Our Client is a highly-regarded Sydney practice. A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estate Planning Lawyer looking for a step up in their career in a thriving and friendly environment.


You'll advise high net worth individuals, families and privately owned businesses on protecting and passing on their assets. You'll own your client relationships, lead complex matters and help shape the team's future, with a clear, supported path to a leadership role.


What you'll do

  • Advise on asset protection, estate planning and business succession for high net worth clients and business owners
  • Design and draft all relevant legal documents and letters
  • Manage contested estate and related litigation files
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, accountants, financial advisers and other referrers
  • Bring in new work and help grow the practice
  • Supervise, mentor and train junior team members


What you'll bring

  • Admission to practice in Australia
  • 4+ years' PQE in estate planning for high net worth clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of trusts, SMSFs, business succession and tax-aware structuring
  • A client-first approach, with the commercial instincts to originate and retain work
  • Excellent organisational skills, with solid systems for managing a busy matter load
  • A collaborative style and an interest in developing others
