We are seeking a Senior Associate with strong Corporate law experience for an opportunity based in Sydney.


This role would suit a lawyer with a solid background in multi-jurisdictional and cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity transactions.


Experience


  • You have been admitted in Australia, England & Wales, or another Common Law jurisdiction
  • You have 5–7 years’ post-qualification experience
  • You have a strong commercial awareness with a comprehensive understanding of large-scale and complex business transactions


Responsibilities


  • You will be responsible for coordinating and directing multiple workstreams on transactions, ensuring matters remain on schedule
  • You have the ability to manage, understand, and disseminate transactional information effectively
  • You have experience liaising with clients, stakeholders, and counterparties
  • You have demonstrated experience working with and coordinating local counsel across multiple jurisdictions
