About the role
You'll act for top-tier lenders and sponsors on leveraged and other complex cross-border finance transactions, taking a hands-on role in deal execution, from day-to-day client and counterparty communication to coordinating the work of more junior team members. This is a genuine opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the practice, reporting to Partner.
Key responsibilities
- Acting for top-tier lenders and sponsors on leveraged and complex cross-border finance transactions
- Managing day-to-day deal communication with clients, counterparties and other stakeholders
- Contributing to the growth and development of the practice
- Coordinating the work of more junior team members
About you
- Admitted to practice in Australia
- 4–7 years' PQE
- Broad banking and finance experience across acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and syndicated and bilateral facilities (secured and unsecured)
- Strong academic record with an analytical, intellectually curious approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Calm under pressure, with strong time management across multiple deals
- Commercially aware, with a genuine client service focus
- A collaborative team player with strong judgment
