We have partnered with well-established public and regulatory law practice who is now seeking a Solicitor to join its growing team.

This role offers exposure to a diverse and high-quality caseload across public, administrative and regulatory law, advising a broad range of statutory regulators and public bodies.


The Role

You will work on matters including:

  • Regulatory investigations and fitness-to-practise
  • Preparation and presentation of cases before disciplinary committees, councils and tribunals
  • Judicial review, statutory appeals and other Superior Court litigation
  • Advising regulators on statutory powers, governance and decision-making
  • Public and administrative law advisory work


The team is particularly experienced in advising regulators and licensing bodies operating across sectors such as healthcare, education, planning, environmental regulation, financial services and technology.


The Ideal Candidate

  • 1 year PQE+ with experience in public, regulatory or administrative law
  • Strong litigation experience, ideally including judicial review
  • Excellent drafting skills, with experience producing complex written advices
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to understand client priorities
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and deadline driven
  • Professional, collaborative and proactive in approach
  • Desirable but not essential:

       - Experience advising financial services or technology regulators

       - Exposure to EU regulatory law
