Compliance Officer – 6 Month Contract, Dublin (Hybrid)

A leading international insurance business with a strong presence in Ireland is seeking a Compliance Officer to join its Dublin team on a 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to work within a well-established compliance function in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
The Role
Working as part of the second line of defence, you will support the delivery of the compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements set by the Central Bank of Ireland. You will be involved in compliance monitoring, regulatory change, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Support delivery of the compliance monitoring plan and regulatory risk mitigation initiatives
· Assist with horizon scanning and implementation of new regulatory requirements
· Contribute to compliance reporting, KPIs, and assurance processes
· Support policy governance, data privacy initiatives, and regulatory returns
· Engage with internal stakeholders to promote best practice and compliance awareness
Requirements
· 3+ years’ experience in a compliance role within financial services (insurance highly desirable)
· Strong understanding of regulations such as Solvency II, GDPR, IDD, and conduct risk frameworks
· Experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory change, or risk frameworks
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· LCOI qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
