In-House Corporate Lawyer, Dublin Salary € 100,000 +
Our Client, a leading global Technology corporation, is seeking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer for their team.
The Role:
Based in Dublin, our client's headquarters for its European operations, the new appointee will serve as the focal point for legal matters in Europe. The successful applicant will be a member of the global legal department reporting to the General Counsel.
The Responsibilities:
• Deal with all legal affairs for Europe
• Negotiate and draft commercial contracts, particularly for software licensing, technology service and outsourcing
• Provide legal guidance and assist in the identification of potential risk factors related to the Company's practices, strategic business units, as well as all products and services.
• Advise management on legal issues particularly in technology, the internet and privacy matters across Europe and their implications on the business
• Track changes & developments in the global legislative and regulatory environment
relative to privacy matters
• Advise on employment law and litigation matters.
The successful applicant will be a q ualified Lawyer, with a degree from an accredited university. Relevant legal experience from a leading law firm or an international organisation is essential. Proven experience in privacy preferred . Fluency in a second European language is highly desirable.
