Investment Banking Legal Officer Salary € Negotiable
Our Client is an established participant in the international structured credit and securitisation markets. Their key focus is ABS and Structured Credit Products with the centre of competency for these products based in Dublin. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Lawyer or Barrister to join this Global Investment Bank's credit structuring team, reporting to the Head of the Department and working in a team of currently five.

Investment Banking Legal Officer - Structured Credit Products Department
Main purpose of job:
To provide legal advice to the Bank focusing on a broad range of general structuring work with a strong emphasis on credit derivatives, securitisations, synthetic CDOs and other forms of credit risk.
Main duties & responsibilities will include the following:
Advising on all aspects of a transaction to include Credit & Equity Derivatives, Structured Transactions and Collateralisation. This will include a range of duties from looking at pitch documents to managing external counsel and reviewing legal options.
Assessment and provision of advice with regard to the legal and regulatory aspects of new products.
To develop the Bank's internal legal practices and procedures.
Experience/Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and qualifications:
Qualified Lawyer or Barrister with at least 5 years relevant PQE
Qualified in common law jurisdiction
Experience in a corporate law firm, or similar in-house role
Experience in general banking law, capital markets or structured finance
Personal Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing and structuring legal documents for credit transactions
Excellent commercial acumen and good personal skills are equally important as this role is front office facing dealing with a variety of business units.
