Compliance Manager - Dublin Salary €80,000 - 90,000
Our Client, a global financial services provider, is seeking to recruit an ambitious Compliance Manager to run the compliance function.
The successful candidate will assist in the development of the compliance program, as well as lead priority initiatives and improvements within the business. You will provide support to the business leaders and others within the business that is focused on improvements in line with the overall business strategy. You will ensure all significant business & compliance risks are identified & prioritised and control plans are in place.
Key responsibilities:
• Work with Head of European Compliance to assist in the development of a comprehensive compliance programme for the Irish business.
• Ensure the re-assessment if the business compliance requirements will meet changing economic and legislative demands
• Implement a business risk assessment process in order to identify, prioritise and act on business risks and controllership issues.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of Compliance, flag critical issues promptly and ensure high quality, unbiased reports.
• Implement a regular review of key business policies to ensure they remain current and compliant
• In conjunction with legal, proactively identify future legislative/regulatory changes and ensure that policies and procedures are in place
• Provide compliance coaching
• Lead specific project teams when required
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience within financial services compliance
• Strong knowledge of business functions and systems
• Highly developed interpersonal and persuasive skills
• Good understanding of compliance requirements and standards
